Center for Policy and Governance is a think tank founded in 2009 in Sarajevo with the aim to support sustainable, developmental processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina while creating and advocating advanced economic and social developmental policies, european integrations and reform of the public administration.
The mission of the CPG is to implement high in quality, independent research and though the research create innovative recommendations for governmental institutions. With its work, the CPG aims to contribute in better understanding between citizens and the governments and provide reasonable solutions for current socio-economic obstacles in the country.
Since 2013 the Center navigates its work toward creative industries in Bosnia and Herzegovina with coherent and strategic approach to this sector as to highlight its potential and benefits to the local economy.
Within the programme “Road to Recovery” in October 2013 the Center organized the first Conference on creative industries in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the name “The impact of creative industries on economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina”. The aim of the conference was to shape the idea and promote creative industries as a resource for economic development.
