The executive branch consists of the President and his cabinet, with the addition of various government departments. Legislative power is the United States Congress, which consists of the House of Representatives (House of Representatives) and the Senate (Senate). United States consist of 50 states. Each state has its own government, which mainly works on the same principle as the federal government in Washington. Each state has the capital and state symbols, and the constitution and laws.
