School of Creative Economy is designed as a programme of collaboration and exchange of multidisciplinary knowledge in the area of development of creative economy that should enable integration of culture and creative industries in planning and shaping of development processes and to form educative tools in this area.
The School functions as creative lab for transfer of knowledge through which the latest theoretical and expert knowledge, as well as local and international experiences from practical experience, are transmitted. It is intended for professional development of interested parties that participate in planning, development and encouraging creative economy on national, regional and local level. The School was established with a goal to advance level of expertise and professional standards in creative sector, and equally in public administration and all other spheres significant for development of creative economy.
The School of Creative Economy of 2016 has local development and creative industries in focus. It is intended for representatives of public authority, professional and business associations, public institutions of culture and representatives of non-governmental sector – and to anyone relevant for planning local development of creative economy. The School will be taking place in Niš on 24th and 25th of March, 6th and 7th of April, and 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of April 2016.
